We had an enjoyable time celebrating Evan's 7th birthday. We began celebrating on Wednesday (March 5) by going ice skating at Carlson's Ice Arena. We then enjoyed pizza at Giordanno's before going to K4t meeting at church. After church we then kept celebrating by enjoying a chocolate mint oreo cake from DQ after returning home.
Friday night we went to a party for our friends' (Bob and Jennie) daughter. We went swimming at an indoor pool and had (yes again) pizza. It doesn't get much better than that. I think we ate more pizza the week of Evan's birthday than we have for the last 6 months.
On Saturday night we enjoyed our family party with G & G Metras, G & G Glenny, and Uncle Brad and Aunt Helene. We enjoyed, yes again, pizza after which we made homemade ice cream. We also made a cream cheese frosting cake and I (Chris) usually get the privilege of frosting the cake. I guess since I am a painter Margaret thinks that I have the decorating touch.
What a great time we had! We praise the Lord for giving us the blessings of children and this week we celebrated Evan. Below are some pictures of the events. Happy 7th Birthday, Evan!
