It has been a great while since I have posted on this blog. It has been a very busy few weeks. I have been busy painting as well as many duties at church. I am also teaching the adult SS class as well.
I am currently reading the condensed version of Mark Dever's "9 Marks of a Healthy Church" found at
Dever's website. This is a great tool to use for interviewing new members. We are currently using this as we meet with prospective members at
Morning Star Baptist Church. Praise the Lord that he is growing not only our church spiritually, but also numerically.
Also, I have just finished reading J Mac's "The Truth War" which is an excellent treatise on the emergent church and its errors. It is a pretty simple but great read. I would certainly recommendt it especially to those who need to be educated as to what is taking place in the emergent conversations. MacArthur shoots straight as to the theological as well as philosophical errors that the emergents are taking.
